This course is an introduction for adults to learn cello within a supportive and friendly atmosphere. Weekly group classes provide the consistency needed to learn with ease and confidence without committing to private cello study. Students will be able to learn proper bow hold, posture and note reading with their peers in a supportive class setting.
In this engaging group class for beginners you’ll learn the basics of cello playing. We’ll learn technique and fundamental elements through popular tunes, and basic music reading.
By the end of the course you’ll be able to play scales, arpeggios, and read and play songs.
The class will culminate with a live performance or recording project.
